Number of Books I am Reading Currently

So recently because work has been so stressful, I have turned to an old habit of mine, reading. I am reading several different books currently because that is how my mind works. I wanna be engaged in several different series. When I am reading I feel all my stress float away, I feel happy in a way I haven't since childhood. So I decided to list these book series for my readers in case they might want to read them. I will also list books that changed my life, and books that I want to read next.

Books I am Currently Reading:

  1. Carpathian Novels by Christine Feehan - I read one of these as a girl and loved it. It is a new twist on the vampire paranormal section. I highly recommend it!
  2. The Dark-Huner Novels by Sherrilyn Kenyon - A friend suggested these novels to me because she knew I loved paranormal romances. Definitely one I would suggest you read, there are so many various stories and the series just keeps growing. She also has numerous other series as well :)
  3.  The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare - Good series, does grow old is a couple of parts though.

Books That Have Changed My Life:
  1. The Awakening by Kate Chopin- It was what made me realize not every woman wants to be married and there is plenty of time before you marry. Enjoy your life :)
  2. The Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare- It is so very heartbreaking and teaches you about accepting others no matter what, and that you can love who you choose :)
Books I Want to Read Next:

  1.  The Vampire Academy Series
  2. The Sookie Stackhouse Series
  3. The Fault in Our Stars

Also, remember reading books can be a fun and inexpensive hobby. Your local library most likely has a good selection for you to pick from!

Haven't Been Here in Awhile

I haven't been here in awhile, keeping up with the blog has been harder than I thought. So in the meanwhile, I have been working, I have been spending time with my fiance, watching netflix, and doing a little here and there.

I also have thought more about time management in these past few weeks, Maybe I need more practice with that.

So here goes, How is one expected to keep up with everything? How is there not enough time in the day? I cannot stand how everyone makes this list of things they need to do, but are unable to accomplish this. I think that in these times, people tend to take on too many responsibilities and are unable to keep up with it. Maybe we should go back to simpler times, and stay focused on our base needs.

Taking Each Moment with a Smile :)

Today, I have learned alot. I have learned that I panic easy, I stress out and am "way too hard" on myself. I put all this pressure on myself to be perfect when in actuality I already am. I am a beautiful, smart, funny woman. I should take everything as they are, and breathe when things get too much. Also, when all else fails google kittens :) or other cute animals.

Remember anything that might go bad is not the end of the world!!!

The Difficulties of Being Young

The worst thing for young people to deal with is boredom. They want to go out and have fun and not sit at home all day. Being frugal and this sometimes don't mix. I am struggling this week with keeping myself busy while my boyfriend went to Military Ball. It was a struggle, I watched netflix, worked on my paper, gave myself a pedicure, applied for a couple of jobs, and talked to my family members.

So I decided to come up with some things to do for when you get bored:

1. Pamper yourself
2. Watch Tv or Netflix
3. Go for A Walk
4. Do a Puzzle
5. Craft

Ps.

Here are some free calenders to print in case you need one:

So Spring Is Finally Here!!

Or so I hope!

I hope everyone has survived the winter weather. These past few days have been super warm! I am so ready for the warmth of spring, just not the pollen! I am allergic to Pine Trees and am surrounded by them everywhere!!!

So, Has anyone started a garden?

I have not, I didn't want to start one since I plan on moving as soon as I get a job!

I wish I could have started one, I have bought a canner and planned to try to can veggies and such. If you are planning a garden I would suggest starting it soon and probably inside so they can start sprouting just in case all this bad weather doesn't clear up.

Here are some simple gardening tips to help you :

Getting into Shape

So how does one get into shape? Who defines being in shape?

Theses questions are circling around in my head as I sit over my coffee and think about what I need to do to get back into shape. I wanna be able to run, but I am not much of a runner....never have been. How do you practice running... isn't it hardwired into us from birth. I suppose not.

So if I am working out again... what would be the best work out?

So I am thinking and ab and crunch workout with extra cardio such as jump rope.

Not sure what you guys think.

Guess I can start doing this again... I mean I have to right?

Today My Heart is Full Again

After a super long week, I am glad to say that I am ready to make full plans for my future. I have started to apply for jobs, and working really hard to complete my assignments and work on my final paper that is due for my last class. I have decided to begin applying for jobs so that way I can interview and find out my chances to attain a job.

Graduating from college is scary, especially since I do not know my next step for sure. I do not have a job secured yet, I don't even for sure know my options but I am hoping that I can overcome these fears and make my way towards my dreams :)

Wish me luck

A little Post

Hi there!

So today, I decided to write a post about some things that have been weighing on my mind. When in college, no one tells you about the difference between college life and work life... and I mean real life work. Like 40 + hours a week, barely getting time to scarf down lunch, being exhausted when you come home, being the lowest person on the totem pole, etc. While doing my internship, I have felt all these things, most things I am still exhausted. I am so tired 24/7... and I guess it will take some time but I hope to get used to it. Good news, I might have found a new car within my budget :)

Any ideas of how to better adjust to working full time?

Stamp Price Increase

Just a little heads up, they are raising the price of stamps on January 26th, 2014. The current price is 0.46 each and will be jumping to 0.49. That is a three cents increase! So I suggest you get out, go buy you a couple books while the price is still currently lower! I am going tomorrow to go get a couple because I am always mailing something!

3. Make sure I get everything in order to get married this year.
4. Get back to my frugal and couponing ways.
5. Research options for me in life, for possible careers.
6. Be Me, don't be afraid of who I am... accept myself for that and that I am a wonderful human being.
7. Make friends and make time for them.
8. Always think of everything in a positive light, even if it means it is teaching me a lesson.
9. Finish my internship and graduate from college this semester.
