Hi there!
So today, I decided to write a post about some things that have been weighing on my mind. When in college, no one tells you about the difference between college life and work life... and I mean real life work. Like 40 + hours a week, barely getting time to scarf down lunch, being exhausted when you come home, being the lowest person on the totem pole, etc. While doing my internship, I have felt all these things, most things I am still exhausted. I am so tired 24/7... and I guess it will take some time but I hope to get used to it. Good news, I might have found a new car within my budget :)
Any ideas of how to better adjust to working full time?
This blog is about finding my way in the world, couponing, saving money, helpful tips, everyday life, food, a little of everything. I am hoping to get this blog off running again and update more often.

Superbowl!!!!
Oh Hi!!!
Today is the Day, it is the Superbowl!!!
I haven't decided which team I am rooting for but I will be still watching with my loved ones. I do hope to make some awesome food and share with my family!
I hope everyone enjoys the day with their loved ones and keep reading :)
PS- If you would like to watch the Superbowl online try Fox Sports Go or possibly the NFL site- I watched it on the NFL site last year :)

Stamp Price Increase
Just a little heads up, they are raising the price of stamps on January 26th, 2014. The current price is 0.46 each and will be jumping to 0.49. That is a three cents increase! So I suggest you get out, go buy you a couple books while the price is still currently lower! I am going tomorrow to go get a couple because I am always mailing something!

Starting A New Phase
Everyone when they start their new resolutions expects to keep them. I plan to! So I decided to add them to my blog so I could make sure I keep them and so that the world officially knows them!
Resolutions:
1. Advocate not just for others but for myself.
2. Post at least once a week on my blog.
3. Make sure I get everything in order to get married this year.
4. Get back to my frugal and couponing ways.
5. Research options for me in life, for possible careers.
6. Be Me, don't be afraid of who I am... accept myself for that and that I am a wonderful human being.
7. Make friends and make time for them.
8. Always think of everything in a positive light, even if it means it is teaching me a lesson.
9. Finish my internship and graduate from college this semester.
AND FINALLY
10. Love others and treat them with the utmost respect even if they upset me or treat me horribly.
If you have any you wanna post and join in my public recognition of your resolutions feel free to!

Something a Little Simple that Could Save You Money & My Weekend!
So I had a wonderful weekend, went to see a play on campus with my boss, was treated to breakfast by a friend, and spent some time talking to my wonderful boyfriend. So if your out and eating a meal, the most simplest and easiest way to save money is to ask for water instead of soda or tea. Water is generally free at most places, and it takes almost two dollars off your bill! However if you must get your tea or soda or coffee, make sure to ask for a free refill and when your ready to go ask for a to go cup! So you have a drink to take with you. Also, if your out and about and are really thirsty, I would suggest bringing a bottle of water with you or a bottle of whatever you drink. You can get a really nice reusable water bottle for around 5 dollars at most stores and you can carry it around with you to keep you from buying a bunch of drinks. I would also suggest packing snacks so you don't go and buy them while your doing what your doing. Alot of people tend to buy food snacks to eat while shopping.

If you want to save money, I would suggest taking a notebook or calender and marking down how much you spend each day. I do this to help me remember how much I have spent during that month. It also makes you accountable for what you spend. I have a cutesy little recipe calender that I use, it also has frugal recipes to help give me some ideas of recipes to try! It was also a free calender I got from Kraft for signing up for their newsletters.
Or you could print one and use it!
